stars don't matter....you can click the first page of the recruits page and then click their 247 or rivals page. Only 2 or 3 extra clicks. Don't be lazy.

You're asking others to keep track of every recruit and do an edit everytime a service does a bump or drop.
All so you don't have to click on the 247 link the op already went through the trouble to provide.

Make sense why they find the request a bit much?

Stars are moody and flippant. They change all the time. There's 2 or 3 guys that do a great job of posting the relevant stuff so everybody can catch up and you want to add star editing to their volunteer full time job? ok.....

Get your pitchforks recruiting forum! A poster I don’t know suggested something!

It was a suggestion y’all. I’m not in here enough for it to matter, nor do I care enough to argue about it. Had a thought earlier it would be a cool way to quickly see the ranking on who we were in on, all on one page. And I still think it would be interesting to see.

But... I can see now the backbreaking work I’m clearly asking each and every one of you to quit your jobs and perform for me, and me alone, *literally no one else on this website would be able to use this information, it’s clearly only for myself to enjoy* is just too much to bear, and I respectfully ask that each of you find it in your hearts to forgive such a malicious and vengeful request. I only hope that one day we can look past this day in history with nostalgia rather than contempt.

Yeah it kind of is. We offer hundreds of kids each year. Sometimes years in advance of them being ranked.

What makes more sense:
1. Users click thread title and either the Rivals or 247 link in each respective OP

Or

2. Expecting thread creators or Mods to continually monitor each offered kids threads and update thread titles as neccessary

Spoiler alert: Option 1 makes more sense.

That said, if others prefer it with the stars in the thread titles, then said others are more than welcome to create the threads for recruits when offered.

Oh, I think the requested practice is useless. Which service to use, the logistics of keeping everything updated, the sheer volume. I think the current format is fine.

Stars are a direct result of coaches evaluations, the only question is will Pruitt prove to be one they rely on for their coattail riding.

You could beat the services to the punch in your desire to stargaze by following the proven coaches' interests, it's what they do.
