Agreed! And the Trey Lipscomb of the pitching staff, Zander Sechrist. Patience, perseverance, loyalty, and determination personified in Mr Sechrist and Mr Lipscomb—especially in the transfer portal and NIL era! VFLs!

Great job by all three involved in this.Great to listen to Wallace and Burke talk about the evolution of Tennessee baseball and how Tony has developed as a coach also.

I bet. I can’t imagine how that feels but just think about how Zander went out on the highest note possible. It was truly a fairy tail ending… I will remember the 2024 team when I’m old and very gray. So will the rest of Volnation!

Oh he sure did. And it so was. I don't think I will ever not get weepy or get goosebumps when I watch that 3rd game. It was an amazing ride. Just a handful of kids get to do what they did. Watching the 2022 and 2024 teams was just ridiculously fun ⚾️🍊🏆

Pretty sure I speak for the Dugout when I express the gratitude we feel for you having shared your journey with Zander these past few years. Not just a casual share but a high dive swan into the deep end share.

Thank you. I’m watching Sister Act and tear up that first time the choir sings Hail Holy Queen. I’m sure that’s what it is… 😉🙏
