Driving over from Nashville I was listening to pre game on the sports animal and they were saying they hoped Tennessee would refuse to play Sunday night games in the future. Something about how yesterday (Saturday) they felt like they were missing out on the party because everyone else was playing?

I personally would love to open every season on Sunday night! For one, it's a night game so the temps will be good. Also its a prime time game but I wish it had been on the main espn network. The environment was great. As far as yesterday, it was nice being able to flip channels and watch several games, not just your own game.

What do you guys think, was it good or should Sunday night games be discarded?

I loved it. It was like waiting until Christmas night to open your gifts. The wait was brutal, but those gifts just fell really special when you open them that late.

"Labor Day" Sunday makes some sense. It was particularly appealing since the NFL was totally off and working on rosters. I am all for it under those conditions.

Hated waiting.

BUT....scheduling it the day after Boomsday and the day before Labor Day meant an AWESOME 3 day weekend for some.
