I said earlier in the year when someone posted this article that it sounded worse than the Todd Raleigh situation. Well now, after it seems his players aren't coming with him on his field trip to visit Omaha this year (that he promised in the above article), there's an investigation into his abuse of student athletes. Jeez, had we realized we could have done this to get rid of Raleigh, we would have gladly done it year one.... Oops...

Imagine if he stays at the helm of a team full of kids who actively tried to get him fired. Yikes!

Golloway is a heck of a coach but sounds like he has people management issues as well.

No sport is as prone to "helicopter parents" than travel team baseball, meaning baseball players may be more sensitive to maltreatment. Let's face it, these guys pay to play for schools and should be treated with more respect that "full-ride" athletes.

I agree - It is one thing to be berated and yelled at by a coach but it is a lot worse if you are paying for that berating or over the top criticism....

Wonder what constitutes verbal abuse these days.....maybe people need to toughen up.

Best I could tell from the article, he wanted them to bunt more, play hard, put the team first, and work hard to earn their position regardless of how long they had been there.

Is there more?
