Does this mean UT doesn't have to pay his buyout? if they do that's a shatty contract deal.

Depends on how much he makes at FSU. We may have to pay the difference if he makes less than he did at UT for a few years.

Good thing FSU has world-class defensive talent. They'll need it with these idiots in charge.

Pretty sure his contract buyout was guaranteed. We have to pay his full buyout regardless of if FSU pays him $5 mil a year.

And before some of you say Hart screwed us with that contract, I'd imagine it was the only way we were getting anyone to come with all the speculation on Dooley.

Tennessee only pays the difference, so if his salary is 200,000 and we owe him 800,000 then we pay 600,000. Any way you look at Sal is getting his money, lucky bas****. If he had a heart he would give it back, I wouldn't, but I don't have a heart:thumbsup:.

He should have stayed @ Bama.... atleast he was getting his NC rings and under Saban, you are just a puppet position coach.....

How the hell do you know he was a "great" position coach. Yes he had talent to work with at Alabama but I never saw any evidence he could coach any position or put together any successful game plan. And frankly neither did you so for you to call him great is BS.

I am almost certain Sal's and Chaney's contrats were guaranteed unlike most of the other assistant coaches. This would me we owe them the buyout regardless.

It was suggested before that Saban didn't think much of him as a coach and tried to get rid of him by pawning him off onto Dooley.

I am also almost certain that you are correct. We pay the difference on the other assistants, but Chaney and Sunseri get their entire amount regardless of how much their new job pays.
