Ohio State @ Purdue

Thad Matta better be praying to the basketball Gods after Turner saved the team down the stretch. Watching Hummel in the 1st half was amazing but I was more shocked at how long Ohio State stayed in the Zone watching Hummel punish them over and over again. Either way, that's 2 in a row that Purdue has dropped.

Kentucky @ Florida

Kentucky showed their youth a lot in this game with the O Dome rockin'. I thought the Cats would drop this one but the small run late put it away. Donovan gets way to much credit for being an "elite" coach. Florida looked so undisciplined and settled for so many bad shots. I thought they played nice defense but hardly no X and Os credit for Billy D. I was impressed with how well Kentucky handled this road game. Their freshmen looked like a deer in headlights but that block John Wall put on late in the game was amazing. They also kept coming back with huge shots.

If your referring to the 1st 10 minutes of the game, then I can agree with this statement. If your referring to the entire game, I'm not sure were on the same page. Their performance from that point on was anything freshmen like, or as if they looked lost.

Pts/assist/rebs/steals

Bledsoe 25/5/7/3 (10-13 shooting)
Wall 19/6/4 (7-17 shooting)
Cousins 13/0/5 (5-11 shooting)
Orton 9 boards and 4 huge blocks. (He does need to learn how to dunk the ball or hit a layup though. he missed 4 shots from within 2 feet.)

UNLESS your talking about UF's freshmen, then thats a different story.

No. The first 10 minutes of the game. They looked like the crowed really got to them and you could see their youth.

Yeah, there was some shell shock going on. If UF came out shooting that game like they have earlier in the season, then we go down by 15-18. Our defense was pretty good though, thank goodness.
