It is a definite that Lady Vol basketball has the talent; therefore, it is so transparent that Holly is the problem. She waits FOREVER before she calls a timeout. My opinion only.....she doesn’t know what to change if she calls a timeout.

The recruiting places say we have talent but some of the players are having a difficult time being consistent. Building consistency makes you a great players Stars are just what someone else thinks.

They are high school talent that has yet to be molded into college talent. You can usually see it in their court IQ, and there is no one on the team who I'd say has a high basketball IQ.

I wonder which topic will create more threads...the OC search or the "Holly is a pox on all mankind"

I totally disagree. There are very high IQ's in this group.
They're out of sync.
That's all it is folks.

I can be there tomorrow

If there is high IQ, it's not showing. Careless passes, lapses on defense, playing defense with hands instead of feet, bad positioning under the basket for layups, not boxing out, not finding the shooters on defense, too much one-on-one Street ball. I could go on...

I think the players have the potential to be high IQ players, but they are not being developed

With the politics of sexual diversity and social justice, couldn't Grant Williams, Jordan Bone or Kyle Alexander identify as women on Lady Vols game nights?

Maybe the fans should give her some help with coaching decisions. Time out! Time out! Sub!, Sub! 7 for 18, 7 for 18, Sub! Zone!, Zone! Man! Man!

Talent to me connotes the ability to put the ball in the hole with consistency as distinquished from general superior athleticism. This team, like those before it, has general superior athleticism but no consistent, talented shooters.

Coach, you are definitely not a self starter......

Get in your car and go over there to the athletic department...Let them know, in person, you are there to help.....Waiting for "the phone call" is not a sign of greatness.

Be bold son......

From ESPN: "This three-game skid is the latest example of Tennessee's recent downward trajectory. The Lady Vols posted a 42-6 SEC record in Warlick's first three seasons but have gone 30-22 in league competition since."
This record of 30-22 in SEC league play has been with Top 5 recruiting classes.

I like how you think.
However, have you ever heard the phrase
" put your hands up " ?
Holly has made it quite clear that Coach J is persona non grata at LV practices.
Considering how much pressure is on Holly, a surprise visit is not likely to go well.

Sometimes things can hit a tough spot. It hurts to see a team with this much talent not performing but I have seen teams turn things around with no explanation. There may be some locker room issues. Whatever it is I need it to get better.

Has she?
