Unless I have missed something, which is entirely possible, I have not heard any endorsements of Holly from our legacy players. Nothing. I think that speaks volumes. Yes, they did have a pep talk with the team, but that meeting did not include any coaches. If Holly was truly a great coach I would think they would be lining up to support her. If this heat continues and we do not hear anything from Parker, Holdsclaw, Catchings, Lawson, etc. I think this answers a lot of questions about Holly. They know much more than most of us when it comes to the inner workings of the Lady Vols. Again, if there have been words of support, please provide a link, because I have not seen them.

I will venture a guess, loose lips sink ships and as my mom use to say, if you can't say something nice about someone just say nothing at all. All very appropriate with this failed coach and a school they love.

I have said the same thing and looking at the players you have named twitter, they have been very active in showing their support of the Lady Vols program (not so much Holly) in the past but this current season they have yet to truly say anything in favor of her/the program which says a lot.

I think that former players as well as announcers and other coaches are aware of what is happening at Tennessee. Except for Doris, I Love UCONN, Burke, few will say negatives things about the program that is an indictment of Holly coaching. I feel that is out of respect to Pat and not to Holly. I really think that many people, outside of the LV family, are concerned over the possible demise of the LV program. Pat and the LV program are Ladies' basketball.

I dont care how many players show support (and I commend them for doing it) but history here is the tidal wave against the current regime.

Regardless of sport - how often is a coach successful following on the heels of a great coach? Much less a historically great coach like CPS? The odds, albeit not always cut and dry when making a decision, are simply against Warlick. Lane Kiffen and Cuonzo Martin ring a bell?

I know those situations were unique but aren't they all? For every program and coach? It simply is what it is and that can often be the biggest hurdle of them all.

Teacherdean - FWIW a lot of UConn fans have the same opinion about Burke.

If they call the infamous "players only meeting" to turn it all around, then it's probably the death knell.

Yeah, but they didn't put them in a room with Anosike & Hornbuckle and turn out the lights.

Immediate Attitude Adjustment!

Holly teared up during a post-game press conference when she was asked about the Lady Vols reunion going on that week. She said she was moved by all the support she was getting from the former players who gathered for the reunion.

Y'all who are genuinely supportive of the program should back off with this talk. If Holly is going to go over a cliff, she'll go over - you don't need to push her over. If she's going to turn things around, she could use some fan support. GLV!
