Started tonight, figured I'd make a thread. Honestly don't really like any of the returning contestants. Monica is alright I guess.

Tonight as in Thursday night???

As long as Phillip and Russell aren't there I think I'm good. I'll get to know the contestants as the show goes on.

Wednesday, I didn't remember till I got home and it was on my dvr. Russell is awesome, he makes the show interesting. Phillip is an idiot but he's entertaining at least. Colton is on there, now that guy is annoying. :)

It's looking like this is going to be a good season. I'm glad Redemption Island is back, and they lined up a pretty decent list of returning players. Colton is annoying, but him raging at Kat last night during the immunity challenge was hilarious, and made even funnier after his breakdown on the first night and talking about how much he had changed since the first time he played.

Also, for a minute there, I was pretty sure they were going to have to send in a rescue team to keep Gervase from drowning.

Rupert! I've watched like half a season of Survivor and I know who Rupert is, LOL.

I heard Hayden from BB 12 (13?) is on this season of survivor.

Yes he is, he's married to or dating Kat. He's already in an all guys alliance, surprise.

You could have made this thread a damn day earlier!

Is my DVR on the fritz or is Survivior really starting at 7pm this year?

I've had both Comcast and AT&T and neither regularly had CBS On Demand or Fox On Demand. Comcast had it about 7 years ago for a while and then it dropped. I don't know why CBS and FOX think their crap is so special they.

Survivor is OnDemand with Comcast in Knoxville. I think they only had the SD version up though.

I like the idea, but some pairs aren't as "meaningful" as others. A niece is a bit different than a wife/husband. Still, it's a great idea.

I really like that redemption island is back. It'll be great to see 2 'loved ones' in there against each other.

Redemption island might make for slightly more interesting viewing but it's a slap in the face to the tradition of the game. I can't remember what happened on the last redemption island but didn't the one person who made it back get voted right off again?

The better question is how in the world did all those people vote for almost the exact same person in the beginning of the show? There must have been a lot more getting to know each other that we didn't see.

Not a regular Survivor fan, so I didn't know who Rupert was. My wife loves the guy though, so I'm happy I get to see why this season....

As much as reality "stars" hang out for promotions etc, I would imagine they met each other a lot. Plus they didn't exactly look far apart in the opener, when they were just couples camping.

Interesting tribal tonight. Glad they voted him to redemption.

That was an epic tribal.

I'm writing Brad's name down just putting it out there.

LOL

He was a douche. He had a good thing going with the all male alliance and he shouldn't have screwed with it.

That was great, probably my second favorite to Poverty handing out idols like it was Christmas. I thought Hayden would flip not the other guy.

Agreed I think the other 4 guys would have stayed loyal too. If he lets Monica take his place, he's the worlds biggest douche.
