Not trying to stir the pot, but I have a question.

Why the differing suspensions for the 3 guys? It seems they all did about the same thing, but the starter gets special treatment.

Am I mistaken? Was he less culpable?

I am guessing because of the different charges:

Foster-Underage consumption- 1/2 game
Holbert-Underage consumption/fighting -1 game
Wardlow-Public Intox/Fighting-2 games

Do you really think you are going to get to the bottom of this Maverick? I think you are trying to stir the pot.

I recommend you use your detective skills, go to ESPN, and read the article. It outlines what happened pretty clearly. I won't be suprised to see all charges against Foster, the starter, dropped.

Didn't he admit to drinking before he went into the bar? If so, I'm not sure underage consumption charges would be dropped. He might be able to get it expunged from his record after community service...but if he told them he drank, they won't drop them, will they? I'm thinking that is what I read (that he told them he drank before going into the bar)

That was part of the initial report I read too, but I can't find it anywhere now. The only thing I can find is a quote from Darrell DeBusk, spokesman for the Knoxville Police Department, who said "But when our officers were there, he was arrested for inciting a fight with another individual."

Based on that, I say it was a misunderstanding and it'll be dropped very soon.
