it really was.
as someone pointed out earlier, it was basically a pick play. burton actually got free and driskel's indecision is the reason he got hurt.
he stared the guy down (who the play was designed to go to), he waited way too long, and yes kudos to the tennessee player for chasing the play down and being in position for when the ball was actually thrown.
but, that play was as simplified as it could get and driskel still, for whatever reason, did not pull the trigger. even on replay he pumps about three times before finally deciding to throw the thing. the sad part is the ball should have been thrown even before his first pump.
if he throws it on time, he doesn't get hit and he doesn't get hurt.
