OK, how hot do they keep it in the O'Connell Center?? Do you think CBP will ever wear that suit again? I mean I have seen folks sweat before, but the guy was soaked....his pants were wet down to the ankles.

It must be hot in there if one of OUR players gets cramps. Those guys are conditioned out the wazoo

I was scared bigtime when Patterson went down. When he got up and went back down, I thought of Crump. When he left, I thought it was his ankle. Then I saw that they were working below the knee and above the ankle, so I thought, great, it is just a cramp.

When I saw the replay of how he went down, I thought he blew his knee out... thank GOD that wasn't it.

I hope Coach Pearl complains about that. That is truly pathetic.

this is the second time we have won with no calls... Reminded me of the kentucky game. The refs were trying to give the game to kentucky.

Trust me, you don't want to see. :yuck:

I've been to many games in the O'Connell Center, and its no more hotter than any other arena. If it was, wouldn't you have seen everyone else sweating like crazy? That was just weird. :ermm:

Bradshaw was dripping sweat... of course, he was running up and down the court.

If Pearl was as animated the entire game as he was late, I can see how he worked up that much of a sweat tho.

I'd rather have a coach who sweats like crazy coaching his team over a coach who spends most of his time in the mirror fixing his dracula like hair.

I remember Pat Riley sweating through a suit during the '84 Finals in Boston. Gary Williams at Maryland can work up a pretty good sweat, also. In the two times I've been there, the O Dome doesn't feel any warmer than most buildings, but it did seem more humid. I chalked that up to the combination of being in Florida and the fact that their acquatic center is part of the complex.

There you go, a coach who could sweat and maintain his hair at the same time. Well done.

Even ESPN is talking about Pearl sweating...You know what I don't care and I KNOW for a fact that Pearl doesn't care.

i think he was just worked up about that game....you could tell he was in to it from the get go, and he never let up.

I'm sure Pearl doesn't care about how much he sweated...though it was a freakish amount of sweat....

i think it's kind of funny to be honest......they guy is unbelievable.

how bout 'em!!!

When I saw him go down and not get up, I thought OMG--we don't need this. We were lucky on that fall.

About the VOLS "wind", I think a portion of their success is attributed to their great condition and exercise program. As Bradshaw said in the postgame show, " we tend to outlast teams in the final minutes of the game."

Here's PF's for the game:

UT = 19
UF = 10

The refs were horrible--they had no control of the game. I think some of the conference refs really dislike CBP because he's vocal and keeps after them. Keep at it CBP.

Eastern Divison Champs

Do we get a trophy or banner to hang in TBA?

Pearl looked like somebody had dumped the gator-ade jug on him by the middle of the second half, and with all the "checking" going on all they needed was some sticks and a puck to switch that game to hockey.

Yea the refs tried to give the game to Florida, but couldn't do much more to help them without making it even more obvious than it already was.
