'nova is on a roll, NC battling injuries, Pitt under pressure to perform after a tight outing against OSU. Will Pitino's Cards whip the shallow Wildcats or will Buddinger and Hill be able to move AZ on? Can 'cuse slow down the scoring and rebounding of Griffin? How about Purdue's JaJuan Johnson against UCONNS Thabeet? Will Mike Anderson, the last coach to hand a conference defeat to Memphis (now at Mizz), be able to do it again? Will Sherron Collins light it up against Michigan State?
I like:
LOUISVILLE - AZ should wear down
KANSAS - mainly because of Aldrich and Collins - and Self
UCONN - should dominate inside
MEMPHIS - if they can slow down Mizz
PITT - just too much for X
'NOVA - love the way they are playing now
NC - if Lawson doesn't re-injure toe
'CUSE - should slow Griffin down enough to win
