Just a word of deepest sympathy to all in the Volunteer State who suffered loss, injury or trauma from the recent storms. Thoughts and prayers are sent today.

My best friend's house-under-construction in Hendersonville was hit hard. The one next door looks like it got hit by a smart bomb. He was REALLY fortunate that (like all construction) it was behind schedule. Who knows what could have happenned if he was already moved in.

Is it me, or has the weather over the last couple of years been really crazy? Thoughts and prayers from The Nation to all affected.

No, not at all. Since it's under construction, it's the builder's responsibility and on his insurance. As it stands, it will take months to fix, and he may even back out as he's not 100% comfortable that it will ever be the same after suffering water damage and possibly damage to the structural integrity of the house. He's really upset. . .but glad at the same time that he wasn't living there, yet.

Weren't the storms in central Tennessee?

I was in San Diego when it happened, I still need to get a hold of my aunt in Nashville and my sister in Mt. Juliet.
