Trying to get Urban would be harder than trying to hire Ryan Day away from OSU (college or pro)….. 0%.

Posted this in other forum but worth repeating:

FSU is a very bad place financially... the only reason they can barely afford to fire Taggart is bc of ACC Network money coming in... they have a small donor base because of their history as an all-women's college... moreover, their fan support has been pathetic this year and ticket sales have been crashing... Add in aging facilities and this is a true definition of a dumpster fire... They will have to go bargain hunting for their next coach.

Imo no way in hell they pay a $20 mil buyout not already having a big fish on the line. If they did they may have just sealed their fate for the next 10 years.

Yeah, I know Urban loves coaching, but why in gawds name would he take another headache job after leaving that gravy train in Columbus. Golly, the guy was 84-9 there. That's insane and he'll never duplicate that. he doesn't need the money or headaches since he is already filthy rich. He owns a restaurant in Columbus, has a cushy ass't AD job there with the potential of being the AD...… Oh, and he is not bad at all on Fox gameday. Don't see him coming back as he has nothing more to prove. Maybe, just maybe, for the challenge of coaching in the pro's... the cowboys

Doubt it....takes a couple of weeks to work a deal.

1) James Franklin would kill it with Florida athletes.
2) Mark Stoops might be the cheap answer.
3) Jim Harbaugh likes warm weather

Oh my...I had completely forgotten about Freeze. He would give Dabo fits like he did Saban.

I was thinking yesterday while watching Nebraska and Frost get beat about when FSU, Nebraska, Miami and Tennessee were always in the hunt. Crazy how all of these programs fell. Can’t wait for us to be back in the conversation. Go Bols!!

I agree...… That guy has done a great job at Wake Forest.... Wake is a prestigious academic institute that because of strict academic regulations and being in the middle of fertile recruiting grounds never hardly gets the 4-5 star athletes.
