Tailgating at the Vandy game

Does anyone know of any good locations that fans can tailgate this weekend? I've searched around and people have said that Centennial Park is off limits. But also some people said the cops have been lenient this year and allowed it. Just wondering if anyone knows from experience? Also of any other spots to tailgate within reasonable distance of the stadium? Thanks

Last time I was there, we tailgated at an area called Vandyland. It is just south of the stadium and there are a ton of canopies, people grilling and drinking. Was fun

Good place but can't get in there without pass. Try the wedge wood ave area. A lot of folks park and tailgate in that area especially the visiting teams fans

I didnt have a pass and dont remember them checking. Maybe I snuck in and didnt realize it, lol

I was there 2 years ago and had a pass but much of the lot was empty closer to Wedgwood.. Good spot though. Maybe you can pay to park there but I don't think so. Anyway close to those lots are pay areas with decent tailgating area on Wedgwood

Centennial Park is right across West End from the stadium. Also, there are some grassy spots near campus real near the stadium

I'll be partying downtown at the Bourbon St. Blues & Boogie Bar for awhile, then head over to the Stage on Broadway, and grab a cab to the game before kickoff. Too much good music to pass up!

There will be a road you can turn on off of west end next to a McDonalds which sits next to Centennial. drive back a bit and to your left will be a bar. Behind there, visiting teams tailgate a lot.:thumbsup:

I will be around there somewhere. I suggest just find a nice spot to stake your claim thats what I'm going to do. lol

there are going to be so many smug Vandy fans walking around convinced that James Franklin is going to get his revenge

if Vandy wins it will be unbearable
