Tailgating Question

It's my first time coming to Knoxville for a game, so pardon my ignorance. My friends and I are parking in the RV lot at the Civic Coliseum. One would assume they allow tailgating there, is that the case? Are we allowed to drink in the lot overnight? If not, where is the best place to set up a tailgate?

I am not sure about overnight or not. I know that on the other side of kingston pike towards west knoxville there is a place that you can park RV's. It was an old Metro Knoxville building I think. I am pretty sure you can park there over night. I guess that really does not help you out a lot sorry. But welcome to the board.

You are pretty much free to do as you wish over there. I think if you get there early enough there are about 25 spots for electricity. I would assume the go friday evening though. I have seen in the late season, that there are maybe 10 rigs there total. earlier and warmer season such as now can be a pretty big shindig.
