Clemson needed to pull in Boyd...their coaching change really hurt them a bit.

That'll be awesome! Ill still get to see him play as my wife is a Clemson fan. I hope he does well there, I would have liked to see him at UT, but I trust CLK has a plan.

Best of luck young man, hope you have great success.

Clemson's not doing that well in recruiting---Dabo better pick it up, or he won't last long there.

rather see him there since we play oregon in 2010. it would be bad if the QB we turned down was coached by T Martin and they beat us.

Eight four star recruits and five three star recruits. Clemson lacking volume this year because of coaching change which put us down to 26th nationally in recruiting points, but our star avg. of 3.62 puts us in top 10 in nation. Not bad for losing several commits when Coach Bowden left. One thing Dabo and his staff can do is recruit. Tajh Boyd's brother Tim wants to come to Clemson too. He is a safety. 5'10" 185 lb 4.6 40 speed. No stars. He has UT, CU, and WV listed as his schools he wants to attend.

What are the odds you think that we play clemson in the next few years and this becomes and underlying ESPN-pushed story for the game?

if he's good enough we'll take him. If not, Clemson is a nice place

I'm so glad you posted this. I mentioned something along these lines in the Thigpen thread.

Kiffin does a thorough exam of these kids -- medical, strength, conditioning, drills, etc. It was always rumored that he failed the medical exam inside close circles and that he wouldn't be able to play his freshman year.

Yea, supposedly everyone recruiting knew of the need for surgery. This means that he would NOT have been ready to compete in the fall for playing time.
