Part of me seems to thing that the sense of ENTITLEMENT around our program and the way we treated a hall of fame coach like Fulmer really makes us a less attractive job than we think this is.

A coach comes here and doesnt have a chance with these fans unless he wins BIG and is beating teams that have a pretty big leg up on us right now. Why leave a stable environment with similar pay to come here and deal with entitled fans that expect you to beat the world when that is unrealistic right now?

Programs like Arky dont have to worry about that sense of entitlement and arrogance giving a bad vibe to prospective coaches.

Ill be surprised if it works out for Arkansas. he has to assemble a great staff for it to work. I dont see a all power running offense working in the SEC! He doesnt have a very good record when they are playing good bowl teams. Just looked it up and they average about 12 passed per game this year.

Very overrated hire imo. Made a name for himself by rolling it up on bad teams. That won't happen in the SEC.

Agree. How did they pull it off without any drama or counter offer from Wisconsin? And Arky is not exactly a premier job (or state). I know they've money, but still. Their AD did a damn good job.
