It may not be as long as you think....

It would not suprise me at all to see Rivers commit early to us. He really likes us from everything I have read and he fits the mold of what Kiffin wants in a QB. He loves to compete and is smart, heady QB. Can make all the throws but accuracy is his biggest asset. Brother plays in NFL and that is where he wants to be. That is what we are selling here.....

After an NC... they are going to be talent-rich for the next two-three years minimum! Unfortunate, but most of Bama prospects will end up at Bama. It's just a fact! :(

I believe the op is referring the state of AL being rich in HS talent---which is true. The Mobile area especially.
They play a tough brand of football in Al HS's.

Being from the Mobile area, I must say that the Mobile area produces some solid players that make a difference in college football.

Ex. Just off the top of my head:Tee Martin, Jamarcus Russell, Pat White, Julio Jones, Mark Barron. Soon to be a lot more!

That's an impressive list there. Welcome to Volnation.

There is one D-Lineman name Ladarius Owens. I heard that he was leaning toward Auburn but I dont know for sure but here is his Highlight tape if anybody is interested.
Dont know if we are offering or not.

Watch out for Stephen Rivers coming to UT. He has shown some interest towards us and Lane and Chaney like him alot.

LaDarius Owens is in the '10 class and he's a linebacker committed to Auburn. His father was the first african-american player at Auburn or something like that so I doubt he's a guy that is turnable.

I believe it is his Uncle, and LO is recruiting heavily for Auburn.

We did pursue him and CJ Mosley hard, but both ended up going to the schools we thought they would. When someone says they do not know if we offered them, it makes me realize maybe my LB OP in the thread was too long because it went into detail about Owens, and he never read it.
