the track isn't actually in Talladega.

it's north about 20-25 miles, i think. the place is so big it helps to know where your seats are or where you're planing on parking before i can give you what i know about traffic from where we park.

are you camping? get there early Sunday morning if not, and you won't have a problem with traffic getting in.

2 years ago where we parked was right by the private airport where all the planes take off. Needless to say when we went to leave we had to wait until each and every plane took off. Sat in my car waiting for 4 hours and did not move a foot away from the track. Best bet is to stay around for a few hours after the race and let the traffic die down.

I go to every spring race. I live on the other side of Atlanta and can get home quicker from a race at Talladega than I can from Hampton(atlanta). They do a good job of getting 5 lanes of traffic heading to the interstate from the main entrance after the race. The track is in Lincon. I am not sure of the actual address. We always get there by 9am and grill out before the race and have no problem getting in. It makes for a long but FUN day. The last 40 laps should be the best live racing you will ever see. This past spring race was the best race that I have ever seen(even though Tony didn't win). The only downfall about the fall race is that they drive too consivertive for the first 160 laps due to the chase.

Brings up a trivial point - how many tracks are not in the town they are named? Atlanta - Hampton, Charlotte - Concord, Chicago - Joliet, Nashville - Mt. Juliet, ??? Bristol was originally in Bluff City, was annexed.
