Happened to notice she's on the broadcast team for the Mississippi State vs Ole Miss game right now. Really courageous of her, and her insight is right on.

I believe Pat was the one who made her get out there and speak in public. With her hearing loss she was very hesitant to speak publicly. What an amazing woman she has become. Pat must look down at Catch, Candace, Kellie, Tasha , Andrea etc, etc and be so proud.
Leaving a legacy- planting seeds in a garden you won’t live to see grow (paraphrased from Hamilton)
Pat has a beautiful garden😊

Exactly. Tamika had a speech impediment as a student; Pat worked with her & insisted that she become comfortable speaking in public. Today Tamika is a terrific commentator.

She's been doing gametime commentary and halftime analysis for a long time now. Pat was very, very instrumental in having her hearing taken care of while she was playing, because she couldn't hear the plays and coaching directives well. They had quite the respect for each other. TAMIKA is of my favorite WBB people.

Tamika Catchings has always been poised and professional in all things that she has tackled, and in no small part due to Coach Pat Summitt. But isn't that the case with most if not all of Pat's players exemplified in so many ways seen and unseen. There a good number of former Lady Vols doing great things in small and great ways. How many coaches would hope to have had the impact that our Coach Pat Summitt has had. Keep doing great things ladies, I think Pat is most proud of you all.
