That was the 90 team right? They thrashed Duke like 101-72 or 3 if I remember. They were the best that I have ever seen to. I remember that tourny so much because that's the year Hank Gathers collapsed and died. Loyola Marymount was a fun team to watch, Hank, Bo and coach Westhead

Between like 1988 and 1993, I remember seeing some of the best, most exciting basketball I could remember. When I was a senior in high school, I would actually be up at midnight watching the START of a UNLV game against Long Beach St. or New Mexico or whoever they would play that night. Then you had the Fab Five, the "Flying Illini" with Marcus Liberty and Kendall Gill, Chris Jackson at LSU, Loyola Marymount's Hank Gathers and Bo Kimble...

Miss them days...

I remember Chris Jackson dropping 50+ on UT, but UT still won the game,

If we're thinking of the same game, at TBA, I was there and believe Jackson had 30 at halftime. Nobody could stop him - think Stephen Curry but quicker (both first step and his release).
