Just saw where Tasha Butts was named as assistant coach and top recruiter at Georgia Tech. Surprised she left LSU. Is anyone else?

I'm never shocked when people change jobs. All sorts of reasons for leaving, doesn't mean she left on negative terms.

GA Tech is only an hour and a half drive to her home town, LSU was almost 9 hours away. I'm sure being close to family will be nice for her. I wouldn't be surprised if they are successful there, she will have a much easier time recruiting players to Atlanta than to Baton Rouge, Tech is a little tougher school academically, but Tasha will be an asset for Nell for certain.

She was probably given more money, plus it's closer to home. She's from Milledgeville, GA which isn't far from Atlanta/GT.
