Oh no. This is all sickeningly familiar. Damn breast cancer, so insidious. All prayers for Tasha, a happy warrior in her playing days. Butts got guts, as we used to say back in the day. She's going to need them now.

Hope ya'll got a chance to listen to the podcast. Just a few months ago. Exactly the way I remember her in her playing days - upbeat, bubbly, and with that Minnie Mouse voice. But tough AF oncourt. She was so full of hope on this pod. Kudos to Georgetown for hiring her but damn it all that she never got to live the role.

She was one of my all time favorite Lady Vols a great player with a vibrant personality. Prayers for her family.

One of my favorite LV games I've ever attended that I will never forget was when I watched Butts -- who was never known as a big scorer -- singlehandedly beat Vanderbilt with a ridiculous 37-point performance that came out of nowhere -- a feat never even achieved but such greats as Holdsclaw, Catchings, or Parker.

A brutal year for LV alums, eff breast cancer...
