I agree that some of it is just "typical talk" after a coaching change, but it's not like a few things were said and then the good talk stopped. This has been continuous since Jones arrived and doesn't seem to be slowing down. Something is definately different around those neck of the woods and hopefully it continues and transfers onto the field. :toast:

Not if the players respected the outgoing coach. "Typical" talk compliments the incoming staff and their methods. They don't "typically" make "darkened night; sun coming out" comparisons.

To me, he can say one without having to imply the other. They can both be incredibly good people, but Butch knows how to run a program, invite alumni, treat player parents better, etc., and as such the place has "an incredibly different feel", more positive, more inviting, more likely to succeed.

At least that's what I inferred.
