Sportsline.com has an article on UT in its college football section today. Some interesting comments by TCHFCATUTK.

"Fulmer said he was thinking of making changes a few seasons back, but the Vols ended up winning the SEC East division in 2004. They lost to Auburn in the SEC title game."

didn't see that comment coming.

yeah, i read it yesterday....nothing really earth shattering in there....fulmer is what he is and he's always going to sound like that...the "work like heck" "hug their neck" type of coach speak from him will never change.

the part about making coaching changes after the 03 season, in regards to JRS and PW, then how he changed his mind after winning the East in 04, just confirms what most of us already know...he's loyal to a fault.

It brings to mind something I remember Jeremy Foley saying about making coaching changes: "That which must be done inevitably, should be done immediately." If TCHFCATUTK had doubts about certain coaches, he should not have allowed an appearance in the SEC title game, which had more to do with Georgia underachieving than it did with quality play on UT's part, blind him to reality.

Good points...

I haven't been around much in the offseason so forvgive me for asking hat but what does TCHFCATUTK stand for?

"I feel like every year we should be winning a championship." My words? No, a quote from TCHFCATUTK. If he "feels" that way, he must be bitterly disappointed with the state of what he's created.

I thought that was it...but I know your take on CPF and thought that there might be a little more to it!!

O.K.-
But...If the CHNVAHAVN.COM suddenly departs this forum, followed by a dismal season and the eminent departure of the TCHFCATUTK what will the FFOTBTMBITC surely do then in their state of confusion and panic?

I don't think your language is appropriate for this board mister. :jpshakehead:

The Current Head Football Coach At The University of Tennessee Knoxville.

I think your acronym has some faults. when talking about the head coach of a program, it is implied you are talking about the current one. Thus the current is not necessary, I am thinking perhaps you put it in there because you want him gone and it is more of a play on that fact. Also, Knoxville is not needed, as again when talking UT football, Knoxville is implied. I doubt anyone in here is crazy about Mocs football. Man I am bored, huh.

I felt the need to add Knoxville, due to the fact that the product TCHFCATUTK put on the field last year was indistinguishable from that put forth by Chattanooga and Martin.

?????? what? I was just goofing around, I was not trying to cause a major ruckus. I knew hat would come back with a clever answer, that's half the reason I even made the original post.

I'm laughing so hard inside right now. Here's a guy talking about BRINGING IT STIFF and censors his own cuss word. Real stiff, bro. :)
