If they put their heads together I am sure they can accomplish anything. So sure we could take another dump on Lexington next week.

They were all thought to be first or second round picks at the beginning of this season, but after what I've seen this season, I wouldn't be surprised if they were the first 5 picks of the draft. Very impressive so far. :shades:

I don't care anymore.

I really don't care. I used to care about the positive streaks we had, but I don't care if we lose eight games. What difference does it make? Is that what we've come to? Hoping, year after year, to avoid eight losses? It's pathetic.

I am not convinced this team gives a hoot at this point. Just want to get her done. Tonight was the perfect venue to show they got it...home game, senior night....they did not show up.

Ky will be lubed up for this one.

Do you think that you need another game to determine that win or lose they have already earned that title. Even with a win, They will be the worst 5-7 team ever.

Well it's not that no team has finished worse than 5-7; it's that no team has finished with more than 7 losses in a season.


I'd consider the years they finished 4-7, 4-6 or 1-6-2 to be worse than 5-7 personally

Thanks for the correction. I imagine 1-6-2 had to happen a while, while back. Other than that I'd say 4-8 would make them the worst in tennessee history

Indeed. I was a freshman in '77 when Majors' first team went 4-7. That was the first UT team to lose 7 and it wasn't pretty by a long shot. But he did okay over the long haul. Those first few years were very erratic though. I'm believing (and hoping) that Butch is up to it. And that he gets enough time to get it done.
