I am 60+ years old.
I have been a Vol fan since I was a child.
Cannot remember a TN team this bad.
This is sickening.

OP,

I'm 41 and I'm right there with you. When you watch games like Alabama/Auburn, Ohio St./ Michigan, then UT/ UK you're left with WTH are we watching? It's not good football!

Disgusting play calling. Disgusting coach speak. I can't wait til after the game we hear Butch say Kentucky is a quality opponent.

I agree, been a fan since mid 60's . After each game I've heard the same stuff over and over from players and coaches alike. The defensive players always say watch film and correct our mistakes, but they have yet to correct them same results each week. Our defensive ends lack discipline to do their assignment and get caught inside every team has been able to get the corner on them cause they react to the fake .

Like many Vols, I also have been a fan since childhood. Short of running my mouth after tough losses and trying to stay positive about our coaching staff.....its wearing thin...running out of excuses.

Unfortunately (and I don't like to bash, since I like to keep things positive as much as possible, so there's not negativity around us, and we don't scare away recruits), it will take many recruiting classes to replace this. The more ways I dissect this, the more it seems that everyone Dooley recruited, 3*, 4*, whatever, is simply not a good football player. Or has been poorly coached to this point. However, I feel like we had some decent position coaches under Dooley, so maybe upon recent findings, it's due to lack of a good S&C programs.

I don't know. But, hopefully Jones is a good evaluator of talent, is recruiting guys who will actually come to fruition and be able to play the game, and...they can't get here for spring practice soon enough.

You guys weren't butching and moaning after georigia and sc. Our best qb is hurt and our team sucks.

Edit:

Cam Sutton needs development, but may be the best player Dooley (or staff) recruited. AJ Johnson is solid. But, there are more elite LB's in the SEC, for sure.

Coaching is coaching man I swear Vol fans don't deserve to win a game. Chris Petersen could come here and yall complain he isn't a proven coach. I for one hope our fans get what we deserve and that's not a winning coach.

I wish he would have given Dooley another contract. Then you would really have something to complain about.

2005 was bad. So was last year.. at least this year's team won a game against a ranked opponent.
