Almost all of these were missing starting qb except Michigan and ole miss which is why I said ole miss. But yeah Purdue, florida, and Kentucky overall were all atrocious.

I am torn. Kentucky, Florida, or Purdue.

But all three have the built in excuse of their starting qb not being there with no good backs ups. We are truly blessed to have Milton.

Kentucky lost their qb and running back.
Florida lost its top two qbs, and a host of other players.
Purdue was down their starting qb. I dont think they would win with him, but they would have played better.

Kiffin is like many in sports, a great frontrunner, but his teams tend to wither when it gets tough or they aren't on top any more.

When you lose 21-0 to the worst offense in P5 history.....And yeah 14 of those points were pick 6's and you didn't have your starting QB but still you couldn't get a field goal? And you let them score a TD on you. I am pretty sure 1 offensive TD tripled that offense's season average.

Iowa plays offense like there's a bomb in the stadium that will go off if they get a first down. I've never seen anything like it.

Of course, their genius AD just extended Kirk Ferentz through 2029.

Seriously I would have thought even Napier knew they were going to get throttled.

Florida was 6-6, losing their last 2 and 4 of their last 6 and was without their QB.

They were also playing the 14th ranked team in the countryā€¦ā€¦ā€¦Florida lost to Vandy with Richardsonā€¦ā€¦..of course Oregon ST was going to smoke them.

Florida sucks

I just went back and did the math... they scored 181 points in 13 games on offense and 49 on defense.their defense outscored their offense in 4 games. They scored more than 17 points on offense only 3 times. Nevada, Northwestern and Purdue all well known defensive powerhouses this season (blue font).

I could accept UK losing to them, heck I expected it but for an SEC defense to give up 7 points to that team is embarrassing to all of football history. I mean 21-0 might not seem like a big blow out but to that team.... that's like getting blown out 140-0

There was actually an article I saw the other day on a UK site talking about the good things from that game.....wish I could find it but it was freaking hilarious

That Iowa KY game was a thriller.

139 passing yards vs 117
67 rush yards vs 68

Iowa 0-11 on 3rd
KY 2-18

Even Iowa fans shouldnā€™t have to enjoy a win via such a STINK fest!!!

KY should be ashamed they are so inept. The ā€œamazingā€ coach who keeps proving heā€™s not.

you should be able to rank them, not just pick one.

Florida was stinky. UK was bad. i don't really care about how bad Purdue's performance was, just glad for them. after that, just don't care. UF and UK 1 and 2 or 1 and 1a. everyone else is a distant 2nd or 3rd.

KY is my vote..I managed to watch a few mins of the game and that may have been the worst offensive game I've seen. 391 total yards, 1 offensive touchdown, 4 turnovers..That game didn't deserve a winner. I'm betting the Music City hated that horrific matchup.

In Ky's defense, the only td their D gave up was a 42 yard drive. Basically 2 receptions and they scored..By far the worst game I've seen in a long time.

Exactly they gave up 42 yards and a TD to Iowa lmfao....that's not a defense. The 2 pick 6's are defensible....Iowa had an awesome defense. They averaged right around 220 yards of TOTAL offense a game....per GAME...

I am just saying this is easily the worst of the bowl losses in that list. UK was the favorite in that game. The Michigan game was an upset but it was game. Purdue and Florida getting blown out was funny but not really that surprising. Before this game, the only teams to hold UK under 14 points were UT and UGA. If they can score 6 vs UGA and 21 vs Missou surely than can get a field goal against Iowa?


UK is very deserving to win this Poll/Award by a large margin with maybe UF coming in second place. LSU trouncing Purdue does not move the needle....We know LSU has talent and will likely be ranked 1 or 2 in the west next season.

It reminded me of when we lost to Kentucky under Dooley and they had no QB. One team is so fundamentally flawed that they can only win if the other side is nothing but quit from the bottom to the top. So, we've been there and I hope to never see it again.

Clemson.

The other teams listed (except Michigan) were fringe T25 teams (or worse). Michigan, meh it was a good game all around. I enjoyed watching it as just that-a game. I didn't really care who won or lost


The Tigers laid an egg on prime time TV when that was the only game in town to a team basically playing their second string offense and still got lit up. The game was not even as close as the score.

Embarrassing loss? Check
Said loss was to a major recruiting adversary? Check
HC making a horses rump out of himself? Check
Overall effect? Priceless
