Just drove by the team bus on I-95 down here in Daytona Beach , FL anyone know what it would be doing down here? CBJ take it on recruiting trips? Anyway thought it was pretty cool, since its rare to even see a vol fan down here.

Were you in an earthquake bro when you took that pic? Just kidding. I see that bus all the time off of 640E at the bus company's station...right before the Broadway exit.

UT doesn't own the bus, it's owned and operated by Premier Transportation of Knoxville, the company that UT has a contract with to provide team charters.

When it's not in use by a UT team, it is used as part of their regular fleet.

This is too accurate of a response.

Mods please delete so we can continue speculating.

I hear he was picking up Gruden - new offensive quality control coach.

So one could essentially lease it to be driven around Tuscaloosa all off-season?

If you so desire to hire it and the driver to do that, sure. I'm sure Premier would happy lease it to you.

This bus primarily used by the football team?

It's not primarily used by football. Including taking them to the Vol Walk and team events, it's probably only used by football 12-15 times a year. It is the first bus up from Premier to take other UT teams on road trips, but many of them travel at the same time, so it doesn't even make all of their trips.

If your group hires Premier, you can request the Football bus.

They should take a page from Missouri's book and visit recruits in a helicopter.

That was apparently what won Dorial Green-Beckham over.
