We have none of these.
We play better HOME because the players are comfortable.
Our players look clueless.
During our AWAY games our seniors need to step up and play more.
I don't think these players hang out with each other that much.

Not true.

We have good team chemistry when Maymon, Stokes and Golden are on the court together.

Umm... that is about it. Carry on.

Did Golden shoot ANYTHING other than a weak one handed floater tonight. I've always had mad love for Golden but Jesus........

Sigh. To say that this team has no leadership is not true really. Maymon, Stokes, Golden, and even Yemi at the end of the game were still fighting for the cause, even if it was lost. We just have a young team. Lets just cheer em through it!

2 for 11 on the floaters and 0 assists.

Isn't that what you are looking for out of your point guard?

Losing to the commode's:clapping: is not as important as beating them.
I really think this team plays up all the time. It does not finish well all the time.:cray:

He really didn't play point in the second half much.

I liked what CCM did trying to get him in the 2 slot but we have got to find a decent PG. We need to scour the JUCO ranks this offseason.

i dont think this team has chemistry issues, i feel they actually have pretty good chemistry. leadership is a whole nother story, there is NO leadership what so ever.

I'm interested to see somebody defend his play tonight.

Its not just tonight either. When he plays a good team he doesn't score alot of points because he's to worried about guarding the other teams point guard (UK, VANDY, UCONN). If he's just worried about scoring i believe he would shine. Give Wes a shot. We aren't making the tourney so why not. (Disclaimer: Golden is better than Wes at this point) Maybe next season Wes will be good enough with the gained experience to lead this team and allow golden to score.

wes got his shot tonight and was terrible. not saying golden was good but it goes to show why he has been on the bench.

I agree, but how do you get better? Golden, if you remember, was awful last year. He's better, but this isn't his natural position so he may never be good at it. He disappears in to many big games.

Wes is showing that he just isn't Div.I material. He can jump high and that's about it. We have to go find a PG this spring. We can't waste the talents of Maymon and Stokes for another year.

he didnt even play last year that is not fair. i am all for going out and getting a stud PG, but if it's an average PG then i dont think you do it, i think that you try to teach golden the position like there is no tomorrow in the off season.

GOOD LORD EVERYONE WAS TERRIBLE!!!! Even everyone's god send Stokes had 6 turnovers. Wes did a heckuva lot better than Golden did the entire game. He actually did more on defense in limited action than Golden did. He pushed the ball, and showed some energy. More than anyone can say about Hall, Tatum, Richardson, Golden, Mcbee, and Swiperboy.

Its so hard to teach a player in between his soph and junior seasons to look for the pass first and setting up his other players to score. He wants to score. The problem is he is going against quicker point guards. The announces say time and time again if you can keep Trae to one side it limits his game.

i agree he needs alot of work but with the ethic he has proven to have i think it can be done. heck look at the player he is just from last year alone. i think he'd be best suited right now at 2 guard and that would probably be beneficial to the team, but the question becomes can you find a good enough pg to fill in. i dont want to settle and use up a scholarship on just an average PG.

wes was garbage theres no way around it. so was the 3 that you named. the only 2 that did anything were stokes and maymon.

He had 3 to's and one hit Mcrae in the hands. I don't recall the other 2.

He had 2 points on 1 shot, 3 rebounds (1 Off), 2 assts and 2 steals, which equaled or bettered Cam and Trae's output.

That's not garbage, and it's why he got pt tonight.

Oh i completely agree with not wasting a scholarship on an average point guard. The point guard doesn't need to be excellent but at the same token he can't just be serviceable. We need a good point guard with potential to be great. With that said Wes needs some experience in case we don't get this!

Have you ever seen a player get worse each year like cam? I didn't think it was possible. Just practicing something that much...

I was down there. He was scared from the tip. Noticed it as they walked to jump. My friend and I both thought he looked like he was about to piss himself.

As I say every week, I can't wait till Wool, Hall and Cam are gone.

Yemi showed tonight why he should get pt and has been abusing Hall in practice for the last 3 weeks.
