Look it was bad but it was a team loss:

Penalties on the O-Line that keep putting us in bad field position

WR drop passes, I thought 2 was a touchdown

Fumbles/interceptions from Dobbs that >>> Put our defense in bad field position

In Nickel we just cant keep giving up easy TD >> Depth of roster, simply don't have anyone better than JT

Defense was on the field too long 1st half, gas by the second half.

But there is much to build off of, at home we should be better at the OL snap count.

Dobbs simply will get more snaps with the 1

WR will hopefully catch more passes from Dobbs >> which throws wilt more velocity.

I saw WR start getting Yak after catches, that's progress.

The Offense will manage the game better, that will simply help our Defense.

Stay patient Vol Nation, REMEMBER we have a HUGE RECRUITING CLASS coming in. So keep you WRITTEN BOOS to yourself because RECRUITS READ THE ARTICLES.

They don't care if recruits read this board. The people melting down with all these negative threads would be happy to watch us go 6-6 every year just so they would have something to complain about and mock TN over. Notice they weren't around after the South Carolina game?

Can someone explain the coverage on the Mizzou WR who was ALONE in the end zone w/o anyone in the same area code? And the tackling has been horrible all year. We have no sure tacklers on the team other than AJ at times. Our first tackler virtually always misses the play. Why is that?

Not true

And if recruits can't take it, then they need to toughen up that thin skin. I want recruits that can take criticism and motivate themselves to do better. Hand clapping and butt patting started this mess.

I want recruits that would rather burn their eyes out with hot pokers than want to lose. I want recruits that want to win so bad, they get pissed at themselves for even thinking of losing. I want to see players that care enough to call out other players on the sideline to stop playing like pansies. I don't want recruits that get their feelings hurt over some critique on an internet website.

Can we band our recruits from watching our games?

And what indication do you have that we don't have recruits like that on the way? My point was directed toward those melting down after losing to a top 10 team....not toward the recruits. You missed it.

The db's bite on the qb running the ball and did not play tge pass. It was simply bad play be the safety.

You said "they didn't care if recruits read this board"

Which I took as, "we shouldn't express displeasure with a horrible loss because we might hurt our chances with a recruit who doesn't like criticism"

Was I wrong?

My point was not regarding recruits. The recruits are apparently smarter than our fan base. They know a depleted team when they see it. Some of our fans don't and are happy just to sit back and take cheap shots at the program instead of offering support.

A lityle differnce. This was the MO qb's 3rd start.that is differnt than coming off the bench during a game.

Hey buddy. I know, but the play on words can't be beat.

Mauck (Mizz) mocks Mauck (LSU). You have to admit that was a good one.
