Anyone notice how the entire offense would run to the ball carrier at the end of the play, pick them up and run back into formation? Last night they played like a team and while we have our challenges ahead of us, IMO if they keep this up they will earn the respect of VN and beyond. The up-tempo pace also doesn't allow for individual celebrations, so last night was far more than earning another W. Thanks CBJ. Good luck Saturday to you, your coaching staff and our TEAM.

My wife (who doesn't follow the vols nearly as close as I do) said "they seem a lot more energetic than normal".

I cannot remember a UT team moving around the field so quickly, so I agree with your wife. What else she notice??

I also noticed an important fact...

No orange pants and no 3-4.

Actually, I think there was 1 or 2 3-4 line ups. I recall being puzzled as to why they were doing that. watch for it on the game replay.

The 3 down looks were all Nickel and Dime personnel.

They were very organized and I haven't seen that in a long time. I love it when the play is over we get the ball and get it to the ump or ref immediately. Love the run at the end of the quarter as well

Did anybody notice the "circle drill" before the team ran into the tunnel after warmups?

Please explain, that's right about the time my mother fell and broke her hip

Ouch! Hope she's ok.

When we got them in long down and distance, we were taking a DT off the field and putting an extra DB in the game so there were only 3 guys with their hands on the ground.

What was the circle drill?

My bad.

As Palardy was hitting his last few warmup kicks the team formed two groups in the Endzone that ran in opposite directions in a big circle. The two lines met near midfield and created an inner ring and an outer ring that circled so every player high fived every teammate. Then a couple of players went to the middle and a beat hit over the PA system and the circle collapsed inward and the players met in the middle jumping up and down in a pack and then sprinted for the tunnel.

That circle drill was crazy awesome. i hope a vid of it surfaces. id like to see it again.

Me too. It came out of nowhere and was probably 20-25 minutes before kickoff, so I'm not sure how many were even in the stadium much less paying attention.

Anyone in Vol Land have a pre game video of the Circle Drill? And for those of us watching on ESPN Game Plan, I don't believe we got any pre game video.
