This will get a lot of disagreement, and the discussion is welcome, but the fact remains that there are six, and only six, teams that can cut down the nets this year.

In no particular order:
Syracuse
Kentucky
Kansas
Kansas St.
Ohio State
West Virginia

And that is all. Nobody else has the ability to win it.

Prove me wrong with your best arguments. Go.

Being a student here, I think it would be cool to see OSU win it, but i don't see it. They may make a good run, but I can't see them actually winning.

I am sure it was just a mistake, but you forgot to put UT on the list. Please correct the situation asap. Thanks

Michigan St. with a healthy Lucas should be in that group. I want to say Georgetown; they are built for it, but some strange losses put their ability to string wins together in serious question. If Texas could hit a free throw, they are talented enough to make a run.

I still have a few questions about West Virginia and K-State outside of Manhattan, and I haven't seen OSU enough to comment. Villanova is noticeably absent from your list, but I think I agree with you.

Ohio St. can't win the national championship. They may make a surprise run to the sweet 16 or a miracle run to the elite 8 though.

Anything can happen in March, and we could see any of those teams either winning it all or getting knocked off by some Cinderella who won't be able to duplicate that magic in the big game.

Bet on Kansas, Kentucky, or Syracuse.

I would take those three and give the field. Thats not stepping out on a huge limb I know, but nonetheless.

TX and MSU can. FTs will likely doom TX. MSU will be better come late March.

I like Nova, and I don't think their game on Saturday was truely indicitive of who they are. I don't agree with OSU or K State although KSU has been pretty good for me against the spread.

Live by the jumpshot, die by the jumpshot. Kansas State has the same chance of winning the national title Tennessee does.

West Virginia hasn't played 40 good minutes in a game yet this year.

Villanova has been there and has the kind of clutch player in Scottie Reynolds that is required to hoist the trophy.

If Michigan State is healthy, there's no reason they can't win 6 straight.

In no particular order:
Syracuse- Yes
Kentucky- Yes
Kansas- Yes
Kansas St.- Can't win 6 straight outside the Octagon
Ohio State- Does Evan Turner's back have enough room?
West Virginia- No way a Bob Huggins team wins a Ship
Villanova
Michigan State
Duke

And that is all. Nobody else has the ability to win it.

I'd give Tennessee about a 3% chance to win it, with Duke coming in slightly below that. Somewhere around 0..

A Snowball's Chance in Hell is around where Duke's chances of winning the title are at.

It'll be the same old story. Duke will run up a nice record in the ballet of the ACC. Then, they'll get to the slamdance of the 'AAs and someone from the Big 12 or Big East will knock their teeth out.

Anyone that thinks Duke can win the Title this year hasn't watched them play.

After UT, Im a big Syracuse fan. I would love it if they made a deep run....Defensively I think they could, but I have my doubts with the scoring in the later tourney games.

So far Nova is doing the arguing for me.

Tonight was a perfect exhibit as to why Villanova can win the NCAA Tournament and why West Virginia can't.

Yes. WVU has some good players and glaring holes. Villanova can play ball.

Its a depressing year being a UNC fan, but being a Tennessee football fan and growing up in Tennessee I will be pulling for them to go all the way. Whats even more depressing than UNC this season is Duke being in the top 10 all through the season for the last 4 years and making it to the sweet 16 just once. If I remember right nova beat them by at least 30 when they finally made it. Pitiful. You can never tell who might get on a winnng streak. Nobody thought North Carolina would be playing MSU last year but they got hot at the right time. I like Syracuse right now to cut down the nets.

For some reason I always fall in love with Nova and take them to the Final Four. This year will probably be 4 years in a row.

And from what I can remember, we could've had Jay Wright? Or is that Dixon?
