1 - Georgia vs Kentucky - Georgia
2 - Ohio State vs Maryland - Maryland
3 - Michigan vs Illinois - Illinois
4 - TCU vs Baylor - Baylor
6 - LSU vs UAB - LSU
7 - USC vs UCLA - UCLA
8 - Alabama vs Appy State - Can't do it, Appy.
9 - Miami vs Clemson - Miami
10 - Utah vs Oregon - Oregon
11 - Penn State vs Rutgers - Rutgers
13 - North Carolina vs Georgia Tech - GT

Little below these games matter for our season goals. If more than one upset happens 2-7, we can cheer against Georgia but I don't like UK any better. If that happens the narrative will become what teams do we want to win in order to give us the best possible match up in round 1 of the playoff.

I want Oregon to beat Utah because I think Oregon has a better shot to beat USC on a neutral field in case no other upsets happen.

I'd like to see North Carolina upset due to the Drake Maye narrative regarding him passing Hooker in the Heisman race.

We also would be helped if Florida wins out. Yes, Florida!

They have a fair chance to go 8-4 if they win @Vandy and @FSU. At 8-4, they may just be able to enter the CFP end-of-season rankings, which would add another quality win to our tally. By beating FSU, it also tarnishes Clemson's best win of their season.

No pulling for them. I wouldn't care if Tennessee missed the CFB, I hope Vandy smashes them and FSU takes Napier's soul, and I really hate FSU.

I don't think Oregon matters anymore. They've already lost 2.
The reason, in my mind, that they matter and the original poster made mention also is that they seem to be a more difficult matchup for USC than Utah in the conference championship. USC has a loss to Utah and that narrative has played out many times where it is difficult to beat a quality team twice in one season.

Wishful thinking on a lot of your picks. Hope you're right though.

Is it better for Tennessee if Bama wins - yes. Will I be rooting for Bama - NO! Honestly it doesn't early matter as they are going to stomp APSU into a greasy little mess.

Not only that, but they only have one loss and have won their division. A non-conference champ has never made it over a one loss power 5 champ. While we could break that streak if UNC wins the ACC, I don't want to bet on it

I am not saying you should pull for them. You can pull whoever you want - not my business.

If you want FSU to win, but instead Florida wins, think of it more like a silver lining if Florida enters the CFP rankings and gives us an additional quality win for our resume.
