If I had to name my one all time favorite driver, it would be between Fireball Roberts and Alan kulwicki. To me Kulwicki embodied everything good that's missing from todays NASCAR racing. Never again will his accomplishment be duplicated. His airplane crashed less than a mile from my business, and I drove by the site many times. Never once without tears, and they are starting again right now. To borrow from Don McClean, that's the day the music died.
