I would. Sorry, but the kid is a damn good QB and a damn good teammate. Of course, UF would also like Eric Berry and possibly a couple other Vols.

SI doesn't control the Heisman, so this means nothing. I expect Tebow to win it one year. McFadden will win it this year. I'm not sure who all will be in it for next year, though.

The LSU game should conclude the discussion for Tebow this year*.

*Please note that this is not one of those bitter "just wait until Florida plays LSU and they will get what is coming to them" posts. I despise the fact that UT couldn't hand Tebow his hiney. But I hate those posts even more.

Lex, thankyou for that observation. You know what is even worse?

When I read on here that Florida hasn't proven anything because beating Tennessee is meaningless. Vols fans are actually willing to deride their own team just to minimize the Gators' current success.

Shows how bad its gotten around here, I think.

I think Florida has a great team but is weak on D. I think Tebow is very good and the Gators O is a monster.

I think that having a big game against the UT defense is about as telling as running wild against Troy. That is not in any way meant to denigrate Tebow, it's simply a fact - our defense is pathetic. I refer you to the Arky St. game for proof, should you need it.

If you think I'm going out of my way to bash UT just to make UF look bad, you have a massively overblown estimate of how much I give a rip about UF or any of its fanbase.

Tim Tebow is a damn good football player without a doubt and deserving of some props but I'm not so sure he is even the best player on the UF roster much less the country. Everything I've seen the last 2 years tells me that honor belongs to Percy Harvin.
