This is pure speculation.

Doesn't look like the DirtyBirds are getting better anytime soon. Say they pick up Tebow in the draft a year or 2 from now:

Would this be good for the Falcons?

Can Tebow continue his break-neck style in the NFL?

Would Lawgator become the biggest Falcons fan on VN?!

If they can they are going to get Brian Brohm in '08. What sickens me, since we're on the topic of NFL Draft, is that the Patriots might end up getting McFadden.

Out of curiosity, has there ever been a situation where a former college coach drafts his college QB and had it work out? I seriously cannot think of a single instance where it happened, and the QB ended up being a great player. Although, part of that may be because it is just difficult to find a decent QB in the NFL.

That will teach them to cheat!

You know...that's a hell of a question. Let me get back to you if I can.

The Pats will trade down. They don't want to spend the money to lock McFadden up.

True....plus they are about the only NFL team that has figured out that a RB is pretty much an interchangable position in the NFL.

They need to update that Linebacking crew with younger blood.

I wonder how long Brohm is going to stay on the board?

One mock draft I have seen had which picks were set by position as of now had:

Brohm going to the Falcons (1st rd)
Glenn Dorsey going to Miami (1st rd)
Woodson going to Detroit (1st rd)
Matt Ryan going to Chicago (1st round)
Hefeny going to Washington (2nd rd)

I also saw one the other day that had Ainge going to Carolina in the 2nd.

To answer the main question:

I think Tebow will be a fullback in the NFL. Think Mike Allstot. No way in hell he can keep doing what he's doing now, in the NFL.

If he does, and does it with success he is well worthy of being interchangable (2nd time I've used that in this thread) with Chuck Norris in those stories.

FB, huh? Interesting... you think he will start out as a QB? I can't see any team throwing him straight to the FB position.

That might be the perfect fit for Ainge. Fox just looks for QBs that will manage a game well and protect the football. I would be a little surprised if he is a second rounder though.

with Fox and Hearny calling the shots over here, nothing surprises me. and you're right, the scary thing is for the type of offense we run he would be perfect.

however, the kink in that is the prognosis for Jake Delhomme is what will dictate what the panthers do. they have far greater needs than qb right now, esp. if JD comes back, they like him just fine. i would expect the panthers to address their secondary and O line in this year's draft.

probably, i think he's going to get a pass due to JD getting injured...the qb situation got out of control when he went down.

but there are plenty of people that do believe that this team has given up on him and the staff. but i'll be shocked if they make any significant changes to the coaching staff.

Petrino needs to talk to Spurrier about bringing his old QB's on board with hopes of rekindling the college flames of success.

I am so addicted to college football that the only reason I pay any attention to the pros is my fantasy team. That and to watch my prediciton of how awful the Dolphin franchise has become be proven true, over and over again.
