I just heard that UF might be in some trouble and Tebow's eligibility might be in question for the next few years. A UF fan created a website that was to help garner more support for his Heisman campaign. TEBOW.15.HEISMAN. Well the purpose of the site is all well and good, but this guy created merchandise you can buy and is making a profit off of Tebow and it's not officially licensed stuff. That's where the problem is, and supposedly the NCAA is now looking in to it. Pretty lame if they take anything(years) away from Tebow for something like this, but just thought I'd pass it on and see if anyone else has heard this.

EDIT: the site is going to be taken down in the next few days.

I don't see how that could have any impact on Tebow's eligibility.

If Tebow had no knowledge or didn't give consent to the business, then he has nothing to worry about.

From what I understand, it's not really up to him. It's the fact that this guy was selling stuff related to UF that wasn't licensed. I think that's it, I'm just relaying what I heard to see if anyone else heard it. Like you all, I can't imagine them taking anything away from him, that just doesn't seem right at all.

If that can cause players to lose their elgibility, I say we all pick players from other teams and get their elgibility revoked by selling items that display their image.

Who did you hear this from? Yet another person who wishes Tebow ill just because he's so good and plays for a rival?

Please.

You have heard wrong.

Yeah this is a non-issue unless Tebow was the one selling his own merchandise.

But oh God, could you imagine the bitching and complaining if Timmy does lose eligibility?

It could be worse than the Bammers

Oh could you imagine the backlash?

I believe the National Guard would need to be called into Florida if this happened! :lolabove:

Kim Green, Florida's assistant athletic director in compliance:

We've got to go back and prove that Tim was unaware of this, he's not benefited in any way.

They prove that and the story is over. Kinda stupid if you ask me.

that would be extremely stupid but if he loses eligibility remind me to begin selling t-shirts of all of our opponents starters and we'll have an easy year next year.

Just send them a check of the profits and BAM you got them
