Saw this tonight. Absolutely phenomenal. I rarely say this about a sequel, but I thought it was better than the original.

Agreed I thought it was a lot better than the first one. The sequel had a lot of cool guest stars as well

Without spoiling anything, did they explain what happened to Mila Kunis' character?

Phenomenal? lol that's a bit of a stretch. I thought it was pretty bad to be honest. I enjoyed the first one a lot more.

While there are were number of times I found myself laughing in Ted 2, they were few and far between. For every 1 moment they tried to invoke some laughs and succeeded, they had a good 5-10 other moments they tried and failed. Also, the biggest problem was it's running time. 2 hours was WAY too much. Easily could have cut out a good half hour of the pointless, unfunny material (intro dance sequence, the entire road trip, etc)) and the movie would have improved greatly. Instead, I spent the entire last hour of the movie checking my watch and groaning when the film kept going and going and going. Really could have used this...

The movie was really lazy and sloppy, and when you add overstaying its welcome to the mix, phenomenal is not the word that comes to mind. More like, mediocre.

The only thing I agree with of this is that it could have been about 20-30 minutes shorter. The Comic-Con fight scene wasn't very funny, and I was getting burnt out by that point.

Up until then, however, phenomenal is exactly how I would describe it.

I finally saw the first one this weekend. Funny movie, but I feel like Mark Wahlberg is wrong for that role. I think it would have been a lot better with someone like Mike Birbiglia.
I laughed out loud a few times.
