Cal coach, true QB guru. Did an outstanding job at the Duke of the West Coast his first five/six seasons, but tailed off second half of his tenure. But we're talking Cal here--the duke of the west coast. A younger version of Cutcliffe, basically.

good idea. when we are on the verge of the worst season in UT history, let's talk about hiring a guy who went 3-9 in the pac whatever and just got fired. BRILLIANT.

I like Tedford, and had he sustained success, I would have liked him here at UT. I think he's a good coach, but his decline will make him a target in the recruiting battles. I can hear it now, "fired at Cal, but good enough for UT?"

He should be our oc and qb coach. Him and gruden share the exact same philosophies in their playcalling. Tedford is a terrible recruiter though.
