He’s been the WR’s coach for the Ravens the past two seasons. I don’t see this as a promotion.

It should help his career trajectory to have NFL experience as a WR and QB coach.
I hope to see him become a successful head coach in college or NFL one day.
I will forever have gratitude for the championship he brought home and for the history he made along that journey.

That's right. I forgot. Tee has 2 Super Bowl rings from 2 different teams not to mention all those AFC championships under his belt.
Sorry bro.
Peyton couldn't win the big one in college.

It is what it is.

Tamaurice Martn brought us a National Championship. Not Peyton.

God this narrative is absurd. Teams win national championships, not QBs. Tee was a below 50% passer for the first half of the season. He was awful against Arkansas. That defense bailed Tee out time and time again. They failed Manning.
Hey....
When they're talking about winning records for QBs, they don't give QBs "0.500" wins.

Peyton won a superbowl with Indianapolis throwing 4 total TDs in the whole playoffs.
But are we going to say he didn't win that super bowl?? I sure as hell would NEVER say that.

Give the brotha his due. It's messed up people would try to rob him of what he earned.

He did something that Manning couldn't do in college. Period.

Not "team win" bull crap, when you're talking about a QBs legacy.

TEAM sometimes waited around for Peyton to win the game and with Tee they knew they couldn’t do that. Different dynamics. Boils down to who was the better QB. And that debate is settled quickly after reality reigns.

I met Tee around 2007 he was a nice and humble guy. I wish it had worked out better for him when he came back to coach here but Pruitt was the HC so Tee never had a chance. Hope he does well at Baltimore I still think he can be a HC someday. Tee got overshadowed by Manning and still is which is unfortunate cause Tee got us the national title and he actually beat Florida.

Tee was carried by a loaded backfield and defense. But technically you are right. I have no problems with Tee but to act like he put the team on his back is an overstatement.
