Tee coming back home would effect our football program in a multitude of ways.

1. Every fan would get behind Coach Jones and realize that he is not messing around. This staff is already great and Tee would make it one of the best in the SEC.

2. Our recruiting would gain a huge boost. You have to think Ramsey is going to be on board with Martin if he jumps ships and comes home. It also gets the ball rolling with 4 days left until the dead period.

3. It gives the fanbase something to be excited about. I haven't personally felt that since the end of the Georgia game.

4. Possibly keeps Hunter here one more year. Really think Martin can make him an elite reciever again.
(I've accepted the fact that CP is gone. Bray can go, I don't want him in this offensive scheme)

Just my thoughts on Martin accepting the job. Tomorrow will be exciting to say the least.

He could walk up in a recruits house, show him that NC ring and say look kid, I got this at the University of Tennessee.

Butch is a people person, Dooley was a rich spoiled brat. Tee was smart to go to USC when he did... Now is the perfect time to come on home.:D

At this point, the real question is: "Has Tee actually accepted the job offer from CBJ or have we just helped Tee get a raise at USC?"

if he doesn't accept the ut job and gets a raise this time, i hope we (the fanbase) won't turn on him

Then in walks Saban with 3 or 4 NC rings on.

I think recruits would enjoy being recruited by an actual player who won a Championship rather than a coach. Tee can relate to the recruits about what its like to play big time college football and win Championships.

This....and Tee isn't going to need stilts to look those recruits in the face.

Tee Martin has two people to thank for his coaching career, Randy Sanders and Lane Kiffin. UT would not even give Tee a call back when he contacted both Dooley and Hart about coaching here. Now, think about this for a moment. If he stays at USCw, I wish him the best.

Tee Martin is not coming home. He turned us down.

Link? I admit that I don't have a good vibe on him coming but I haven't seen anything regarding him turning UT down yet. Only thing I have read is that he would make a decision after talking to hie wife and Lane.

His wife and kids will have a voice, obviously. From Tee's view though, he knows that Kiffin might not be around in a year or two and a new 5 year contract from his alma mater looks good. It seems like a no brainer, but you never know.

My mistake. I could have sworn I heard Ainge and J-Bay saying that Tee wasn't coming. But, after listening to the rest of the story, it is still up in the air.

Would be great to get Tee back home, where he belongs.:peace2:

Tee is a nationally known recruiter. Even if Kiffin does go, Tee can get a good job at a lot of places.
