Teen's brutal soccer attack

String em up from the tallest tree! I am so tired of blacks getting off lightly in the judicial system.

Everyone knows that whites are prosecuted unfairly while blacks always just get a slap on the wrist. Burns me up.

Dang straight!

Yeah. If people try to make it political, it becomes political. This one has not been politicized.

Perhaps because the girl who attacked the other girl is being investaged and will likely be charged with assault.

Another minor detail here is no one was killed.

So Zimmerman isn't being investigated, and likely won't be charged?

Some teenager was unjustly (as it appears) killed by a security guard this weekend, but nobody cares to politicize that one.

When was the last time the media publicized an butt-ugly, overweight, pasty 50 year-old woman who went missing?

The media has a hard-on for certain stories.

How is highlighting the racial aspects in all of these other stories any better than what the media appears to be pulling in the Martin case. A lot of you guys are just hypocrites.

I know. The case I'm referring to with the security guard is one the media would normally salivate over from a gun control perspective. In light of the Martin case, it's going to fly under the radar. It would diminish the hysteria because it alludes to the notion that accidental shootings of innocents do happen, and they don't necessarily have anything to do with race.

I'm pretty sure race had nothing to do with this; that girl looked like she just wanted to deal out a beatdown.

I suggest anger management.

I think that fanning the flames of racial hatred, as a lot are doing in florida right now as well as some on here, only serve to make incidents like this more likely. Was this crime motivated by the news and current atmosphere? Probably not. But do those things contribute to a feeling of bitterness and resentment that can contribute to violent overreactions? Absolutely. I can't say definitively in this case, but it makes me wonder.
