note: I said INTELLIGENCE! Not FOOTBALL INTELLIGENCE! of course Peyton is more experienced and football savvy, but I bet ya Dobbs IQ is at least 20 pts higher!

rb's yes. But we got a good one. Dude is fast and strong. Grade concerns kept people away.
As far as bell, screw him. He wanted the easy road. We got a few kids that weren't scared and are ready to play ball. JRM is a leader. Bell is a follower.
Were you required to take an IQ test before enrolling? Not to be confused with the standard ACT/SAT.
What I love about Dobbs is his smarts. He's a field general, that has a great read on the defense. I see him spending countless hours in the film room to better his game even more. Physically, he needs to add some weight to his frame. But he has nice height at 6'4 that should serve him well seeing over the line. He has a strong arm, and makes plays with his feet. Although he's more of a pocket passer, he has speed, and the ability to escape pressure and extend plays to find an open receiver down field. That is what makes him special, and an all around perfect fit for this offense. I think Dobbs has a legitimate shot to win the starting job this year. Butch and Bajakian personally recruited this kid, and are very high on him. That leads me to believe that he'll have some momentum going into the QB battle. We're very well set at QB for years to come.
You rang. Been making and throwing paper airplanes since the early 80's as well as spitwads. I am the aerospace engineer of this board.:good!:
Apparently today's astrophysicist's aren't quite what they once were.I`m not an aerospace engineer, but I did attend Tech for astrophysics. I am not saying the school requires it! I`m saying the subject matter requires a very high IQ! yes,you MUST make like a 24 or so minimum on the act,but I bet Dobbs makes low 30s like I did. Manning had a 3.7 gpa in sports marketing! NOT EVEN CLOSE!

Bell wasn't scared, had nothing to fear given his competition for the job. He made a business decision. His chances of making it to the pro ranks looks better at OSU than at the UT right now. I HATE saying that but it's true. We are and have been in flux for a while. I believe he did say that any good player needs an equally good supporting cast to be successful. Know what? He's right. At this time, he did what was the best for him, not just on NSD but in the future. I'm sure he knows darn well how former heralded college players ended up homeless and living under a bridge. Forgotten and/or just pitied and the university just saying what a shame it is. And before the bigots here cast all such players into the same cesspool of arrogance, a good number of them were injured in college so didn't get drafted. Couldn't find a job whether they had a degree or not. I believe either a Time magazine or a US News & World Report ran an article on such players 2-3 decades ago. Nothing much has changed since then.
So, I'm sure Bell isn't ignorant of this possibility. So he went where he believed he had the best chance for playing on a championship team and being highly drafted into the NFL. If a highly rated Florida or Alabama player who was always a Gator or Tide fan opted to play at Tennessee you'd be bragging about a great steal from their backyard. Instead of saying screw him for not staying at home. Such is hypocrisy.

You are quite correct. The big bang is ludicrous and so is all the dark matter and energy bunk. I invite you to a duel of astrophysical knowledge. I am self-educated. I had a near-fatal car accident during my first year at Tn Tech. I am disabled now. U r a prick imo. jk GO VOLS!

i could care a less about punctuation and grammar, if you want to judge me based on that, that's your problem not mine. yes i like peyton, but i was stating plain facts. you can't deny the facts. and i wasn't being disrespectful of peyton just telling you like it is as far as peyton goes. while peyton is very smart when it comes to the line of scrimmage and X's and O's i think his brother Eli is better than him in big pressure games.
Evidently the ability to smile like a donut got you through school. Yes, im saying you have an oral fixation and a desire to go the extra mile that your professor's loved. If your reading comprehension is up to par, you will understand what im saying to you...:hi:Was reading comprehension a requirement for getting your GED?
