2 elite 11 qb's should rank high, but of course, CBJ and staff got nothing done according to many, so don't count the qb's.

I hope he can run. Might help in two years since we didn't draft hardly any linemen and our O-line graduates after next year.

What makes him special for UT?

The first thing that jumps out at me is the dual threat title. I've always wanted us to get back to that type of QB.

I also doubt you will ever hear about him throwing beer bottles at cars in a parking lot.

I can't wait to see him and Peterman in action. :salute:

Very intelligent, 4.0 GPA and majoring in aeronautical engineering.

Very athletic with good arm strength.

Needs development. Coaches are very excited about him.

The kid's brain is his best weapon. QB isn't a "run that way, hit that guy" position. It's way more about reading defenses and recognizing coverages than how fast you run or how strong your arm is. Intelligence is the first thing I would look for in a QB.

He may be more intelligent in BOOKS--but if you think ANYONE in all of football is as intelligent as Manning is ON THE FIELD--you're delusional.

May we please allow this kid to be a kid and not annoint him as King just yet...Riley Ferguson isn't a SLOUCH by any measure--and we don't even know if Dobbs will be able to out-perform him, not to mention Peterman and Worley.

Good things ahead for the VOLS with CBJ at the helm, and I expect that he will sign some major defensive tallent next year! GO VOLS! :salute:

He is MORE INTELLIGENT THAN PEYTON,BY FAAAAAR!!!! Whether he has better skills.........????? I have no clue. I know he should be able to learn a playbook and appropriate audibles in a matter of weeks. If this kid can play.....we will have another Josh Football. I am personally very excited. Big difference between intelligence and football intelligence. But I do believe Dobbs has everything to be a great QB for UT.
