1. At first I wanted to see Williams/Tatum back, but I"m leaning more towards not having any of them back after seeing the post-game video. That team is 100% committed to each other. That video gave me chills. It was something to see.

2. Bone is a good, solid defender. His offense is lacking, but he can guard very well.

3. I can't believe McBee hit that shot...hell, I still don't think he hit that shot. That was incredible.

4. Tyler Smith's dismissal was the best thing to happen to Maze. He now has the keys to the car. It's his offense and he has the freedom to run the team. I'm still holding out complete commitment to him turning the corner, but he has looked excellent.

5. Kenny Hall's defense is one of the three reasons we won today. That was excellent job on Aldrich. He did a great job making sure he wasn't getting the ball...even though Kansas wasn't looking at him a lot, I still think Hall's D has something to do with that.

6. Chism has become the unquestionable leader of this team. He has become the emotional leader of this team. Watching him help young guys out from the sidelines and getting the crowd fired was awesome.

7. The horrifying flex we had seen actually worked to our advantage. It slowed the game down, got us in good offensive sets, and made sure we got good-looking shots. Hopefully that continues.

8. That was awesome to see pick-n-rolls. Maze was dynamite off the picks. It opened things up on the outside, Maze almost made the right decison every time, and did an excellent job taking it to the hole.

9. When Scotty Hopson takes it to the hole, he has all-american potential. If he can continue to shoot the three ball like he has, and still be aggressive like he was, while finishing like he did, then he is going to be a big-time, special player. I was also very impressed with his defense on Henry. He did very, very well.

10. If you had told me that Prince/Chism would only combine for 14 points, nobody on our team would score 20, and we win by 8...I would have bet every single penny I would ever make that would not happen. That game was crazy, awesome, and inspiring. This adversity was the best thing that could happen to this team. I'm not big on destiny and all that...having said that, this team could be something special. What a day.

Go Vols!!! :hi:

I say it's great...to be... a Tennessee Volunteer!!!!

I hope we continue to see Hopson drive to the basket. When he puts his mind to it, he can be very tough to account for!

Not a single word on JPs defense today?

He looked like a beast on D.

Kenny Hall is unquestionably better than tha neighborhood, and should start over him even if he is admitted back to the team.

As long as that car is not a 2010 Dodge Charger...:eek:lol:

I was at work and didn't get to see the game, but what a great win for the team! These guys really seemed to have come together since what happened after New Years, I'm excited to see how they do getting into SEC play.

the one thing that wouldve been better is if they let the students rush the court. yea, they get fined for it, but how many times do you upset the #1 team in the nation????
i was extremely close to running out there myself and just getting arrested haha

played a solid all-around game yesterday--good assist-to-turnover ratio, good defense, and most of all they shot the ball well--a fraction short of 50 percent for the game, and exactly 50 percent from the Three. When you shoot that well, you win almost every time.

I absolutely loved the game.. love the win- we needed this- something positive around which to build and move forward. The one negative thing, though, is that it seems like KU's 3-point woes were not due to our defense: they missed several wide open, good look 3's. But I don't really care! Did McBee really hit that shot?! Holy ___ !

For some strange reason I kind of liked the fact that they didn't rush the court. I, of course, expected it to happen, and when it didn't, to me it made it seem like "we do this stuff alot...no big deal...big win, now lets go beat the h#$% out of the next guy"

They tried. Security changed their minds.
