I know I can’t be the only person that does this.... anyone else watch replays a few times and look for all the celebrating opposing fans and think.. “man, that didn’t turn out the way they thought it was heading.” Looked like Costco on corn dog sample day.

Thanks for posting this. Was driving to the beach and my stream went out at the start of the 6th. When I got back in service we were in the 8th with the lead!

8 teams go to Omaha. They are split into two four team brackets. Each bracket plays a separate double elimination "tournament." The two winners of the brackets then square off for a best of three (I think three) series to determine the national champ. This is my first rodeo, and I think that's correct. If not, please someone correct me.

I appreciate the info, lord knows I absolutely hate baseball but the Vols are giving a reason to watch.

A couple of observations about the game; the announcers were obviously LSU biased. Everything was about them, from Mainieri, to Morgan, to Doughty, to Hilliard, you would have thought Tennessee somehow managed to sneak in and ws going to be brought to reality by LSU. Next is Rucker; I haven't been able to watch UT baseball much this year, only when it's been on SEC Network. But it seems like in every one I've been able to watch, Rucker makes an error or doesn't do his job at third. Anyone else think so?

On a positive note, it's great to see some winning taking place in several UT sports teams. Tennessee is starting to make a little noise in sports again. Now if the football team can follow along, that would be great.

I don’t think one of the all time great Vol baseball players was biased towards LSU, he was just doing his job. Some think he goes out of his way to prove he is not biased, I don’t agree with that though. Also, they gave the Vols plenty of praise.

Rucker is a very good defensive 3rd baseman.

As a kid my alcoholic grandfather took me to a Smokies game. After 4 hours of 0-0 eventually the other team scored a run. I had been there well over 4 hours and was so frustrated. Never been to a game since, never wanted to play it.

Maybe this team will change your mind. I hope so. There's a lot of joy in the game, even as just a spectator. I hope it finds you.
