this is first year I can remember that on rivals you have to get to number 14 before you get to 3 star ratings. Off to great start in state. This could be biggest in state haul that I can ever recall...if it all falls together for us! Has probably been discussed a lot previously. Any way...future looking brighter. Go Vols!!!

We whiffed on too many in state studs in the 17' signing. We need to take advantage of this in 18'. Nice start with the big DT yesterday tho.

More depth for sure. I think last year had the high profile look just because you had so much skill players(Higgins,Rodgers,Chandler,Richardson,Stevens) but this year is really deep. A lot of depth on the offensive line(Mays,Wray,Lane,Corbin)and defensive lines(Emerson,Lawless,Litaker,Kid committed to Bama.) for sure the deepest we have had in awhile. I feel like we could easily take 14-18 guys alone this year.

Yeah I've been following this stuff for years and hard to remember a year with this much elite talent and depth. I think the state of Tennessee is really moving up the recruiting list especially in the mid state area. Vols should definitely benefit from it.

We definitely need to ramp up the 4* & 5* haul from here on out. With that said we did get some solid 3*s last year but we need more to beat the sabanites. We also need to lift the curse on beating SECwest teams.

No problem believing Jones can do it. He's knocked down every streak so far except bama.

Regardless, Can Tenn PLEASE get back to recruiting 4 or more DTackles every year.. Those that cant cut it become great OLineman, but you have to be 4 deep at DTackle in the SEC because you will lose at least 4 during the season
